Festive Tea

I always forget how much I love the Bigelow seasonal tea until I finally have one. I have boxes collecting dust on my shelf, but I finally just had a cup of Salted Caramel that's been languishing in my desk at work and I'm like: How is this not the only liquid I consume?

They're all so good. I know you might think, "It's just tea. It will taste like flavored tea."

HOW DARE YOU

These are little packets of deliciousness. I don't know how they make tea taste like apple cider or cookies; it's leaves. Leaves! (I do add stevia. Because I'm a child.)

I love you all
I would say that I should go out and buy some, but I literally have four boxes at home that I've been overlooking since last year's festive tea season. So, I'm set.

Podcasts

I never got into podcasts until recently. I remember when people first started making them, and the ones I heard were from well-intentioned amateurs. But, the thing is, everyone was an amateur then; it was brand new. I just always preferred to listen to the radio in the car, and I would watch TV at home.

I started watching YouTube in the last few months, another type of media that used to be a matter of taking shaky, poorly lit videos (and MAYBE running it through iMovie to add a few effects) but now has much more professional productions. Podcasts, if you've also been avoiding them for the last 15 years, are now similarly professionally produced affairs.

It kind of bums me out that that the expectations are now so much higher; I can't imagine the pressure on a new vlogger or podcaster to buy expensive equipment and software for what will definitely be an unpaid hobby for the foreseeable future. However, as a listener, I really like how nice podcasts are now! There's a million of them on pretty much anything. Who knew?

One that I really like is The Happiness Lab. I'm also taking the happiness class on Coursera. BTW, sites like Coursera and Udemy are amazing! You can learn anything about anything. I feel like this is what the internet was supposed to be. I mean, that and cat gifs.

Making New Candles Out of Old Candles

I am a sucker for a three wick scented candle. If I pass a Bath and Body Works and they have their sign out saying that candles are on sale,...
